Shipping Policy
Please note the shipping time frame is excluding the time frame for production.
It is your responsibility to select the correct shipping option for your area (Local, Major City, Outlining Area). Should you select the incorrect shipping. A separate invoice will be sent to you via email for the balance to be settled before any processing can proceed.
It is also your responsibility that all your shipping details, contact numbers and email address is correct before placing your order to prevent delays.
How long will it typically take from when my order has been placed till when it is shipped out for delivery?
We will start creating your Family Tree when we receive your order and Ancestor information submission form. Should there be no research needed (This is requested by you) then it should take around 1-2 business days for you to receive a proof (Mock up) via email for your approval before it gets sent for professional printing and framing which can take 5 – 10 business days before it is ready to be shipped.
How do I track my order?
A tracking number will be sent to you via WhatsApp or email as soon as the couriers have collected. Please ensure you check both.
Please allow some time after your tracking number has been sent for the tracking to reflect on the tracking system.
Delivery Restrictions
We strictly only delivery via Couriers that we outsource at our discretion . We do not deliver with services such as the Post Office or Post Net.
Collections and deliveries do not include weekend and public holidays.
Why do I get charged when I want to use my own couriers?
Courier companies are NOT responsible to ensuring the parcel is safely wrapped. We will still need to use safety packaging when getting your order ready for collection to help keep it safe during delivery for your convenience.
Please understand that we cannot hold any responsibility for your parcel after it has left our premises should you use your own collection services. We recommend that you take insurance out for your parcel. This you can typically do through your courier service.
What if my order is urgent and need express delivery?
Should you need your order to be delivered with express. Please contact us at info@genetree.co.za to get a quote before placing your order.
